PUNTONPeacefully at Crossouse Hospital on 19th November, 2008, after bravely battling serious illness for the last 9 months, Elizabeth (Liz) Punton (nee Hall), aged 55 years. Beloved wife of Ronald Punton, much loved mother of Craig and Colin, grandmother of Amy and sister to Sandra and Frank. We sat beside your bedside, Our hearts were crushed and sore, We did our duty till the end, Till we could do no more. In tears we watched you sinking, We watched you fade away And though our hearts were breaking We knew you could not stay. You left behind some aching hearts That loved you most sincere, We always will remember you And the things you held most dear.
